Welcome to Nevada City Community Supported Kitchen
The Nevada City CSK is an ongoing food share subscription based on the concept that when local communities support kitchens, it also supports small businesses and local farms while providing freshly prepared food for busy families. Help us celebrate a new way to take care of ourselves with food in Nevada City!
The CSK model has been a successful one in san francisco and portland and now Wendy Van Wagner and Jessica Flanigan are offering a unique opportunity here in our small town for all of you to do the same. The CSK model is an evolution of the weekly CSA (community supported agriculture) box from farms. The Nevada City CSK takes food from local farms one step further by cooking and preparing it for you and your family. An easy way to enhance your busy life with prepared foods.
Our shares are available in monthly (3 week long) shares. Each week, six freshly prepared items will be included in the share, available for pickup at In The Kitchen.
Everything is packaged ready for you to take home and eat. Each week dishes will vary based on what is fresh and inspiring us. The share is GLUTEN FREE and VEGETARIAN. Small amounts of egg and cheese are occasionally used. We have formed a little family around our previous CSK subscribers, and are excited to offer this new, larger scaled model to fit the local demand we have experienced. Each pickup will be packaged for take-home delivery in reusable (and returnable) glass and environmentally responsible packaging.
Subscriptions are 3 weeks per month
Subscription Price: $65 per week/ $195 per month

Payment can be made online in a few short weeks. Until then please mail us payment. Payment is monthly. Pickup is at In The Kitchen 648 Zion St. Nevada City on Wednesdays 4:30-6:00pm.
